Review of Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter #1) by Nalini Singh

Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1)Description
Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she is the best- but she does not know if even she is good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, Elena knows failure is not an option—even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it's not a wayward vamp she has to track. It's an archangel gone bad.

The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other—and pull her to the razor's edge of passion. Even if the hunt does not destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just might. For when archangels play, mortals break.
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
My sister, gave me this one to read, and also someone said to me its great, so i went, fine, ill read it :)
It was a brilliant, book, from start to finish, and i was instantly in love with a few characters..
Elena, was a very great and amazing character , she was strong and confident, and she also had flaws which i love about characters, coz if they are perfect then what's the point..
Raphael is , well, in my opinion a hot, devilsh , and well, amazing character, he also has flaws, and hes just that typical male character, or in this case, a typical Archangel :) mmmmmm :p
There is evil, fighting, and allllot more over stuff :)

*This is an adult book, and contains Sex, which i am finally used to, but i still sometimes giggle, as a 16 year old me do*

SO read this book !!

Review of The Demon's Surrender (The Demon's Lexicon #3) by Sarah Rees Brennan

The Demon's SurrenderDescription
The Goblin Market has always been the centre of Sin's world. She's a dancer and a performer, secure in her place. But now the Market is at war with the magicians, and Sin's place is in danger. Keeping secrets from the market she loves, struggling with a friend who has become a rival, Sin is thrown together with the Ryves brothers, Nick and Alan - whom she's always despised. But Alan has been marked by a magician, to be tortured as the magician pleases, and as Sin watches Alan struggle to protect the demon brother he loves, she begins to see both brothers in a new light. But how far will brother go to save brother - and what will it cost them all?

My Thoughts
YEY :)
The last in the trilogy, and oh my god , its amazing :)
This books i mostly about Sin , a lovely and amazing dancer , who is great at what she does, she is next in line for being the next in charge of goblin market but all that changes.
She is keeping secrets and everyone else is too...
Alan is marked at a magician pleasure...
Nick is also being told what to do....
With all of this going on, Sin gets dragged in the whole battle between good and evil and demon and magician :)

The final book is a brilliant book, and the ending is amazing :) Please if you have read The demons lexicon and the demons covenant then you will want to read this :)

Review of The Demon's Covenant (The Demon's Lexicon #2) by Sarah Rees Brennan

The Demon's Covenant (The Demon's Lexicon Trilogy, #2)Description
Mae Crawford’s always thought of herself as in control, but in the last few weeks her life has changed. Her younger brother, Jamie, suddenly has magical powers, and she’s even more unsettled when she realizes that Gerald, the new leader of the Obsidian Circle, is trying to persuade Jamie to join the magicians. Even worse… Jamie hasn’t told Mae a thing about any of it. Mae turns to brothers Nick and Alan to help her rescue Jamie, but they are in danger from Gerald themselves because he wants to steal Nick's powers. Will Mae be able to find a way to save everyone she cares about from the power-hungry magician's carefully laid trap?
^^GoodReads^^

My thoughts
I am pretty sick of doing my reviews late , lol

Anyway, this book the second from the demon's lexicon is as good as the first, if not better..
The first one was more focused on Nick, where in this one, its more focused on Mae..
Mae was in the first one, but not as often, she had her fist kill in the last book, and it still haunts her, to this day, when she is certain, only 2 brothers can help, she calls Nick and Alan to help out, with her brother, because he is trusting the wrong people or may i say Magicians.
I loved this book, so much, it kept me reading into night, which a lot of books do these days :)
Not much to say, because if i say any more, i am scared ill spoil it, and i don't do spoilers, but trust me on this one, if you loved the first book, you will love this book :)

Review of The Eye of the Crystal Ball by T.P. Boje

The Eye of the Crystal Ball
First things first i am so happy i got to read this for free, and got asked by the author to review it, so in which i am :)
This is the first time an author has sent me an email me asking and got a thrill of excitement so if any other authors would like me to review their books i will be happy and willing to do just that :)

Description

When Sara was newborn her parents left her at the doorstep at Mr. and Mrs. Schneider's house.
When Sara was ten she discovered she was telekinetic. She began to move stuff around when she got angry just by her will alone.
When Sara was twelve her real parents came for her and took her with them to live like the Gypsy that she was - or Romani as they like to call themselves. They told her she was going to fulfill a prophesy. That it was once said that out of the Romani people the greatest sorceress who had ever lived would be born.
When Sara was thirteen she had a baby brother and when she was fourteen he got very sick with a strange illness.
To save her baby-brother Sara sets off on a quest to find his cure - well knowing that it will cost her dearly.
Soon Sara finds herself going through the Singing Cave, crossing Wild Witches Valley, talking to a ten foot giant snail, rescuing the Beads of Souls from the Hell-hounds, escaping a spell in Vamila, the Forest of Vanity, visiting the king at the City of Lights before she finally reaches the Black Castle where she is told the Eye of the Crystal Ball can tell her how to cure her brother's strange illness.
But nothing is free in this world - and as Sara soon will know - everything has a price.
^^GoodReads^^

My thoughts
This book was great from the start its a totally different book in away which i have read but i am so glad i got the opportunity to read this :)
Sara is the main character and she was left to be looked after by strangers, and at school, people can kind of notice she wasn't like everyone else, and then when she turned 12 her real parents turn up and reveal allot of stuff to her, in which it explains why she was given to different people.
She makes a few friends and she starts to love her family and way of living... but then when her mum has a child, and Sara has a brother she is so happy for him, and then he gets ill, so Sara and someone else goes on a quest to save her brother knowing it will be a very long and hard quest.
This book has magic, creatures, evilness and goodness in it, and i had a great time reading it :)

Thank you T.P.Boje for letting me read this amazing story :)

Review of The Demon's Lexicon (The Demon's Lexicon #1) by Sarah Rees Brennan

The Demon's Lexicon (Demons, #1)Description
Nick and his brother Alan are on the run with their mother, who was once the lover of a powerful magician. When she left him, she stole an important charm - and he will stop at nothing to reclaim it. Now Alan has been marked with the sign of death by the magician's demon, and only Nick can save him. But to do so he must face those he has fled from all his life - the magicians - and kill them. So the hunted becomes the hunter...but in saving his brother, Nick discovers something that will unravel his whole past..
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
This book, was great and i am so glad my sister got me to read it, i was so stuck on what to read , so when he brought this down to me, i was looking at thinking, hmmmm, ok.
So i picked it up and read it, after a few chapters i was stuck into it, and i didn't want to put it down (Yes one of those books again).
So back to the storyline, which i am rubbish at talking about, Nick, is a very strange character and the book is from him, so wherever he is and the actions and conversations which happens where he is. He and his brother Alan, is on the run, and normally you would think from a killer, but yes, in away a killer, but not a normal killer, a magician's and his circle of magician's.
This is all for a charm, or is it?
In this book, you find out stuff about NICK and ALAN, which will shed the light on everything...and maybe we wont like the truth..
Not only is Alan and Nick in this book, but also Mae,Jamie has a great role in this book as well, which if they weren't in this book, the storyline would not of worked..
So prepare yourself for a bit of romance,Fighting and dark moments :)

Review of Fins Are Forever (Fins #2) by Tera Lynn Childs

Fins Are Forever (Fins, #2)Description

On Lily Sanderson’s eighteenth birthday she’ll become just a girl—still a mergirl, true, but signing the renunciation will ink Princess Waterlily of Thalassinia out of existence. That leaves plain old Lily living on land, dating the boy she loves, and trying to master this being-human thing once and for all.
Now that Lily and Quince are together, mer bond or not, she’s almost content to give up her place in the royal succession of Thalassinia. But just when she thinks she has everything figured out, the waves start to get rough. Lily’s father sends a certain whirlpool-stirring cousin to stay with her on land. What did Doe do to get herself exiled from Thalassinia and stuck in terraped form when everyone knows how much she hates humans? And why why why is she batting her eyelashes at Lily’s former crush, Brody?
The seafoam on the raging surf comes when a merboy from Lily’s past shows up—Tellin asks Lily for something that clouds her view of the horizon. There’s a future with Quince on land, her loyalty to the kingdom in the sea, and Lily tossing on the waves in the middle. Will she find a way to reconcile her love, her duty, and her own dreams?
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
This book is the second of the fins series, and is carrying on after the book Forgive my fins.
Lily has finally got a boy of her dreams, and soon she will be just a mergirl, not a princess.. she will get good grades and go to college and have a normal life.
But things like that, you have to work towards and when little obstacles get in the way then its going to be hard.
Her cousin doe gets exiled which means she has to live with Lily and try to get used to normal life and try to start liking humans, instead of hating them.....
Not only does Doe distract her from revising and trying to do good in her exams but an old friend of hers Tellin comes to her and asks something which makes her very distracted...
This second book is amazing and is so good that you wont want to put the book down :)

Review of Outside In (Insider #2) by Maria V. Snyder

Outside In (Insider, #2)Description
Me? A Leader? Okay, I did prove that there's more to Inside than we knew. That a whole world exists beyond this cube we live in. And finding that led to a major rebellion - between worker scrubs like me and the snobby uppers who rule our world. Make that ruled. Because of me, we're free. I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again - while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. But then we learned that there's outside and then there is Outside. And something from Outside wants In.
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
This book is the second and last from the short series of Insiders, the first book which was outside in, this one is a continues from this book.
After the first few chapters i loved this book, just like i loved the first book, this is now after the Trellas and Pop Cops, are now no longer in charge, and Trella, just wants most people equal, but when people start doing things, and then they realise they are not alone in this, things start heating up.
Throughout the whole story i was having trouble on who's side who was on, because 1 minute someone was helping Trella and the next minute, they are helping someone else, hmm, but in the end, i figured it out :)
This book is as good , if not better to the first one, so please if you have read the first one then please read this one :)

Review of If I Could Fly by Jill Hucklesby

If I Could FlyDescription
Tender and deeply moving, "If I Could Fly" is an unputdownable novel with real heart. It will keep you guessing until the final page. Calypso Summer. Yeah, that really is my name. 'A girl with such a name is on a journey. She will have adventures,' my mother used to murmur in my ear. And I now I am on a journey. I'm running from something terrible - but I don't know what. It's like my brain has blocked it out. For now, I'm learning to survive: to break the System and not get caught. I've found a friend I can trust. Next stop, freedom. Somehow, somewhere..."If I Could Fly" is a story you'll never forget.
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
This book, was completely different to any book i have read, and i thought at first i was not going to like it..
To start of with i was confused on what was happening, but slowly i realised and then from then on i loved it, and i just wanted to finish it..
It really did keep me guessing, until, the last page..
We don't know what happened to Calypso, and we really want to know, why is she on the run, why is she injured..
The Characters in this book, is so confusing, and there isn't that many, its mainly Calypso, and about what she went through..
This books was amazing, and I'm so sure, more people out there will enjoy this like i did...
I Will Never forget this book :)

Review of Cloaked by Alex Flinn

CloakedDescription

I'm not your average hero. I actually wasn't your average anything. Just a poor guy working an after-school job at a South Beach shoe repair shop to help his mom make ends meet. But a little magic changed it all.
It all started with a curse. And a frognapping. And one hot-looking princess, who asked me to lead a rescue mission.
There wasn't a fairy godmother or any of that. And even though I fell in love along the way, what happened to me is unlike any fairy tale I've ever heard. Before I knew it, I was spying with a flock of enchanted swans, talking (yes, talking!) to a fox named Todd, and nearly trampled by giants in the Everglades.
Don't believe me? I didn't believe it either. But you'll see. Because I knew it all was true, the second I got cloaked.
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
This was like another Beastly and A kiss in time Where it is spin off's from a certain fairytale, but this one had a mixture of a few, which you will see in the book (if you read it).
The main character in here as it says in the description he's just a normal, not even that guy working for him and his mother, but then someone turns up and changes his life forever.
You find out secrets and other stuff, and it all comes to him, the hero of the book.
This books was a great read and it made me giggle in parts especially the princesses accent :)
If you liked the two books up above or any other books Alex Flinn, has wrote then please pick this book up, (after you have bought it)...

Review of Leaving Paradise (Leaving Paradise #1) by Simone Elkeles

Leaving Paradise (Leaving Paradise, #1)Description

Nothing has been the same since Caleb Becker left a party drunk, got behind the wheel, and hit Maggie Armstrong. Even after months of painful physical therapy, Maggie walks with a limp. Her social life is nil and a scholarship to study abroad—her chance to escape everyone and their pitying stares—has been canceled.
After a year in juvenile jail, Caleb’s free . . . if freedom means endless nagging from a transition coach and the prying eyes of the entire town. Coming home should feel good, but his family and ex-girlfriend seem like strangers.
Caleb and Maggie are outsiders, pigeon-holed as "criminal" and "freak." Then the truth emerges about what really happened the night of the accident and, once again, everything changes. It’s a bleak and tortuous journey for Caleb and Maggie, yet they end up finding comfort and strength from a surprising source: each other.
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
This book, was so different to books i have read before, but i really liked it, the fact they both are different but yet the same, and the characters are shown to be weak, but yet strong.
Maggie, is shown as a freak, because of what happened to her, but thought differently i thought she was a very nice and ordinary girl, and just because she's got a limp, it doesn't make her a freak..
Caleb was in prison for what he did to Maggie, but as the story goes on, we learn things, that changes everything, but yet the ending is so unexpected..
This books, is an amazing read and i found it quite easy to read :)

Review of Numbers 3: Infinity (Numbers #3) by Rachel Ward

Numbers 3: Infinity (Numbers, #3)Description
Post-Chaos 2029. Adam, Sarah and Mia are living together, struggling with the fame of seeing numbers - the dates when people will die. But something is about to tear them apart. During The Chaos Mia swapped her number for another. Suddenly her powerful new ability makes her a terrifying target. Everyone wants to live for ever.
^^GoodReads^^

My Thoughts
After the last book, Sarah and Adam and Mia and 2 other boys are living together  but people are still after Adam, or at least someone.
This book, is 2 years after the Chaos, and everyone sees Adam as a hero, or something like that, because he tried to warn people, and he did save some peoples lives, because of warning people.
Mia the child, is different, she has a gift, and one of them, we know of already..
Adam and Sarah meet new people, whether they are good are bad..
One man is kind and nice, and tries to help out allot..
The other is a killer, and is violent and mean...
I loved this books so much, and i read it non-stop, i didn't even put it down once.. :)

If you have read the other two books, then you must read this one :)

Review of Numbers 2: The Chaos (Numbers #2) by Rachel Ward

Numbers 2: The Chaos (Numbers, #2)Description
Adam sees 'numbers' - when he looks in peoples' eyes he can see their death-dates, just like his mum Jem used to. Adam has trouble dealing with his awful gift, and when he realises that everyone around him has the same series of numbers, he becomes deeply afraid of what might happen in 2025.
Desperate to find out what could be about to go wrong, Adam spends hours researching possibilities - war, nuclear accidents, killer viruses. He knows something big is coming, but what? And is there anything he can possibly do about it?
^^GoodReads^^

My thoughts
So Adam, is Jem's son, and he has her gift plus more, i like this allot, I'm so glad, she made it a little different, and i like how it was about her son, and not a continued on her.
I like the fact that in the story there a big story line about a big bad thing happening.
Sarah, is a girl, who suffers from bad nightmares, and in that nightmare is Adam, though she has not met him yet, so when she sees him, of course she's going to be frightened, i like how, the chapters took its turn with Sarah and Adam..
No matter how many times they try to stay away from each other  its just fate that they end up together..

I don't want to say any more, just in case i spoil anything, and i don't do spoilers :)

Review of Betrayal (Dark Touch #4) by Amy Meredith

Betrayal (Dark Touch #4)Description
A hot new boyfriend. Prom just round the corner. And not a demon in sight ...Things have never been better for Eve Evergold, Deepdene's kick-ass witch. But when things seem too good to be true, they usually are. An evil far greater than Eve has ever known is at work in Deepdene - and it's hell-bent on turning her closest friends against her. This time, it looks like Eve is going to have to face her demons alone...

My thoughts
Once again, the dark touch novel is back, and its back even better, Eve, Jess and Luke, is once again, frighting demons, but its different this time, its crazier than ever, and can anyone trust anyone.
Witch the socking discover from the end of the last book with Eve being part demon, does that mean she has an evil streak, or not.
The people who found out this, do something which makes her angry, and then form there a women manipulates her friends which makes her fight on her own, will she survive this one, or not??
This book, is a never ending twists and turns, and its amazing.
3 things to say:
1) What was it with the animals, that's a bit sick, to me, especially the rabbits :(
2) I loved it
3) I wish you could continue this forever :)

Review of Numbers (Numbers #1) by Rachel Ward

Numbers (Numbers, #1)Description
Since her mother's death, fifteen-year-old Jem has kept a secret. When her eyes meet someone else's, a number pops into her head - the date on which they will die. Knowing that nothing lasts forever, Jem avoids relationships, but when she meets a boy called Spider, and they plan a day out together, her life takes a new twist and turn. Waiting for the London Eye, she sees everyone in the queue has the same number - something terrible is going to happen.
^^GoodReads^^

Characters
Jem, she sees, numbers, when she looks into someone's eyes, and its when they are going to die, she keeps to herself, no-one would believe her, she doesn't want to make friends, are anything, she lives with her foster mum, but she doesn't like it, she just wants to stop seeing numbers.
Spider, he is an hyper boy, who is sometimes a trouble maker, but when he meets Jem, he likes her, and then, al he wants to do is get to know her, and he never thought, that they would end up on a run together.

My Thoughts
This book, is something i have never read before, and that's great, there is a bit of romance, but who doesn't like a bit of romance.
Jem and Spider go through allot together, on the run for something they never did, that's horrible, and the things they go though is something you don't want to experience.
I thought this book, was one of the bests i have read so far this year, and the ending will leave you wanting more, which you can..
The second one is called Chaos, so please i hope you pick up Numbers, and read it the way i did, and enter the book like i did, it was like watching a movie, i do that with books, which is amazing :)
