Review of Nocturne (Claire de Lune #2) by Christine Johnson

Claire feels like her life is finally settling down and she couldn't be happier. She's been filly initiated into her family's pack of female werewolves, her best friend Emily is back in town, and the gorgeous Matthew Engle us now her boyfriend.

But Claire knows all to well that life as a werewolf is never simple. And when she discovers that new girl Amy knows more about her than she's letting on, Claire feels that things are beginning to unravel.

Claire knows that if her werewolf identity is exposed everyone she loves will be put at risk. And, as her human and wolf live continue to collide, Claire must fight to keep her secret safe.

My Thoughts
This is a second in series kind of thing, so I was already going to get it, but i never knew it was out until my sister pointed it out, and i looked at her with those pleading eyes, but she didn't budge, and i already bought a book, that day, and well i was in waterstones, and i have a waterstones card, therefore, i got money took off, oh yea, so i got the book, for like less then £3.00 :D.

The author of this book is a great writer and has put a lot of detail in the story. From start to finish i loved it and it only took me less than 24 hours to read it maybe actually less than 9. The style of writing she uses is easy and it makes perfect sense. The POV was focused on one character throughout the book, which made it more interesting than switching characters.

My Thoughts on the characters is Claire is a great girl and tries her hardest to do what is right whether it is forbidden or not. Her boyfriend to me is amazing and how he deals with it could of been a little better. Her best friend is cool, and i wish she could know the truth. Her mum well i feel she is a little to bossy and she should care for her daughter more.

My overall opinion on this book is; I loved it, and i wanted more when it ended :D

  1. This series sounds good. There are so many books I want to read. I can add these to the list. By the way love the Jace quote.
