Review of Delirium (Delirium #1) by Lauren Oliver

Delirium (Delirium, #1)This book was amazing, it had allot of detail and i want to thank Lauren Oliver.

Description of the book:
Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

>Taking from goodreads

Characters:
Lena, the main one, she is the girl this book talks about and its from her point of view. She cannot wait until the cure, but she meets a guy , and everything changes from then.
Hana, is Lena's best friend, but knowing the cure would mean they will probably never see each other again, Lena then has to tell Hana everything, and in the end only one of them is the bravest.
Alex, he is the guy which changes everything for Lena, he is caring and considerate. (I would love him), he has a history which i loved about, and he helps Lena realise that falling in love may not be the wrong thing to do.

My Thoughts:
I loved the way love is wrong, and it should be stopped by a cure, and i like how thing change because of one boy, i am glad i read this, and really hope other people do, this could of been a little happier, but hey, not all books can be.

Review of Fever (Dark touch,#3) by Amy Meredith

Fever (Dark Touch, #3)Wow, I have to thank Amy Meredith again for this great book, I loved it, and the 2 before this.

Brief description:
In this book, Eve, Jess and Luke or still in this book and let me say they are the demon hunter's still,  a vicious tropical disease is being spread through Deepdene and they think its just a flu or something but they realise its a demon called Many faces/Amunnic when teenagers start to disappear.

Characters:
Eve being the Deepdene witch when a demon turns up it is up to her to destroy it. But at the beginning she just wants to enjoy the heat with her best mate Jess. Eve's character is strong, bold, brave and also a shopoholic.
Jess feels as if she need to learn something to help put the 3 of them, because she feels that she is the only one who can't do anything, Luke has the sword, and Eve is a witch, but Jess is brave as well and what would we do without her.
Luke is the hot guy who just can't admit his feelings to Eve what annoyed me. He has the sword to help but is not much use for what happens with the demon. Luke is also brave and an amazing character and without him the book would not be the book.
Many Faces/Amunnic is the demon they face witch could be anybody in Deepdene so the chances is Eve,Jess and Luke have all been near him at times.

Prologue:
Everything what happened in Deepdene is linked to what happened in the prologue. So make sure you read the Prologue and i know when i was young i missed them out thinking they are pointless.

Love:
Eve and Luke both like each other allot and you could tell this from the very moment they laid eyes on each other but they both think its just friendship and all through all 3 books I was saying just kiss, be with each other.

Overall:
Overall i loved this book and recommend you read it if you have read the first 2. There is a 4th one called Betrayal coming out and i just can't wait.

Review of The Autumn Palace (Ondine,#2) by Ebony McKenna

The Autumn Palace (Ondine, #2)

First of all , i want to thank Ebony McKenna for writing another amazing book!

From the first book, Hamish got given a job to spy for the Duke, and Ondine doesn't like it, so she goes with him to the Dukes palace, and starts a job and goes to school.

Ondine thinks Hamish is spending to much time working then being with her, and Hamish is actually enjoying working for the duke.

They have to find out who is trying to kill the duke, and its hard because there is 3 suspects, The Duchess, The Dukes sister and Lord Vincent. So Aunt Col, Ondine and Hamish has to be spy's and try and figure out who is behind it.

When Hamish is being Shambles in ferret form he is quite the funny one, and brought some laughter to me, especially the Dog incident. Ondine doesn't like when he is ferret form because she just wants kisses with the hot guy Hamish.

There is new Characters as well as the same old ones, and one of them is the Infanta, Anathea who is the Dukes sister, at first i hated her, because she was bossy and childish when it come to the part she complained they started without her. She got on my nerves but then she started to change and done things for herself and it wasn't until the end where i loved her.

There isn't much to say apart from READ IT! and please do it in a private place and not in public because you may get looked at funny when you burst out laughing on a bus or something. Please for Ebony, read this book!!

Review of Heart of the Dragon (Atlantis,#1) by Gena Showalter

Heart of the Dragon (Atlantis, #1)This book gave me a surprise , seen as i am only 16 and well, there is scenes which contains sex. (not my cup of tea).

I'm just going to forget about the sex moments for now, and focus on the storyline.

Grace Carlyle is just a normal woman who never thought she would end up nearly killed by a man which can take a form of a dragon and then held captive. She always wanted an adventure but she never thought she would get one like this.

Her brother loves to find certain stuff and recently discovered a medallion, but then sent it to Grace in hope she would keep it safe, but then her brother is held captive by humans and Vampires, who just want power or money.

Darius en Kragin never thought he would go to kill a human then stop, and actually not go through with it, he has been trained to kill any human being which passes through a mist which leads to Atlantis, where mythological monsters live. When a women walked through it by mistake he had a chance to kill her but he changed her mind, and from then things start to develop.

This books was brilliant but 1/4 of it in my opinion was Sex, which is not my kind of read, but if you take that away you have one amazing storyline.

There is other books in the Atlantis series but each one is a different storyline and new characters but is set in the same scene hence the title of the series Atlantis!!

Review of My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, #1) - by Rachel Vincent

My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, #1) by Rachel VincentFinally i am reviewing it!!
Kaylee is just a normal teenage girl who sneaks out at night and has fun, but there is a past about her which you will learn to know.
When she sneaks out to a nightclub she has a great time but then she sees the hottest and most popular guy and he speaks to her.
They dance for a while but then she feels something and she knows what is about to happen she searches the
room and sees what is causing it, she gets helped outside by her best friend and Nash. Nash calms her down so she is able to talk and say what she saw, but after that it doesn't get any better.
Teenage girls start dieing and one every day, she knows it is connected to her and Kaylee and Nash finds out stuff which brings families together and help with the problem.
Kaylee's character is brave, trustworthy and an amazing character and she develops through all of it.
Nash's character is lovable, trustworthy and also brave and in my opinion HOT.
Kaylee and Nash starts to develop something but is it just because he knows what she is.
This book is one of my favourites and if i could give it higher than 5 stars i would.

Review of Uglies (Uglies#1) by Scott Westerfeld (Ages ago)

Uglies (Uglies, #1)

All time favourite book, it has took me a whole year to write a review for this book. so it will lack on some information.

First of all this book is about people who aer know as uglies until they turn 16 when they have an operation to make them pretty, but not all is what it seems.
A girl called Tally has always wanted to become a pretty and can not wait until her 16th birthday, when she will become one of the pretties, but she meats a girl called Shay when she sneaks into New Pretty Town to see her best friend who is a pretty, after that she nearly gets caught so Shay helps her get back into uglyville, where she finds out that Shay's birthday is on the same day as hers, but Shay does not want to become a pretty she wants to go to a place called the smoke a stay ugly forever.

Tally wants nothing to do with the smoke , but Special circumstances gets involved and tells Tally she has to go to smoke and alert them to the place called the smoke or she will never become pretty. She goes into the smoke , but starts to enjoy it, but she does something witch alerts them to the place of the Smoke.

Allot of things then revolve and it is all because of Tally alerting them to the smoke, she gets close to a guy called David, and she does not want to become pretty no more.

That's all i can say without giving it away!!

Review of Inside Out (Insiders #1) by Maria V. Snyder

Inside Out

This book, was recommended by my sister Leanne, and i am so glad she let me read it, (even though i have read most of her books which she has bought).

This book is about in away lower and upper classes like us, people who are poor and people who are rich, but this is about 4 levels , the bottom 2 levels being where the scrubs live, where they do labour work and have hardly any time for themselves, and the 2 upper levels being where they have there own families and have more time to do what they want to do. But throughout the book there is some things similar to each other.

A girl called Trella is a scrub and she keeps to herself like everyone else, and tries to not get noticed by the pop cops. She has a friend called Cogon, which she has been living with since the start and spending time with each other. She sometimes sneaks to the upper levels (you are not meant to) but this only risks her own life but soo she starts up a rebellion and risks other peoples life's, this is all because of a prophet who asked her to find some information on the location of a gateway to the outside.

Trella at one point lands into a room and meets an upper, similar in age, Riley, they grow to trust each other and you can see that they will grow to be more than just friends on the first time they meet, Riley plays a part in it all as well. Other characters also play main parts , Cogon, The two Tech-No's Logan and Jade- Anne, Sheepy (sorry but i had to put this down, the sheep was amazing), the Prophet, of course Trella and many more.

Trella is shown as a brave and loyal person and in my case the heroine of the book. The ending was a surprise and i am so glad that there is another book called outside in, i hope the characters Riley and Trella develop more and get to each other more in it.

Review of The Iron Queen (Iron Fey, #3) by Julie Kagawa

The Iron Queen (Iron Fey, #3)

This book was brilliant and truly amazing. The best book in this year and i know its only February but whatever.

This starts straight after the last book, Meghan and Ash are exiled and they go to Meghans house, it has been a whole year since Meghans family have seen her, so she is scared to what could happen when she turns up, not having aged much because the faerie realms time is different. She does not end up seeing her family because she is attacked by some iron Fey's, and Ash and herself fight them off, from there they have to hide out until they think of a plan on which to stop the false iron king.

After this Puck turns up again to stop some Iron fey taking Meghan into safety, Glitch is in charge of this group. Grim then turns up being that Cait Sith witch appears and disappears when he wants, he takes Puck, Ask and Meghan to a safe place.

In this book it is all down to Meghan, and she grows throughout the book which helps her do what she does at the end. Not only does Meghan grow and show a side which has not been shown, Ash does as well, he speaks more of his past and lets his love shown to Meghan and does whatever he can to protect him.
Puck also shows his true and caring way instead of the funny side even though he does at some points made me laugh, even though Meghan chose Ash over him, he still cares for her. I never really liked glitch at the start but eventually i started to like him.

In the end, Puck, Ash , a fey called Razor , Glitch and Meghan play a big part in it. Meghan faces the false iron king, which you will be shocked to see who it is.

In this book there is romance, adventure, hurting and it is emotional, it made me cry in parts, and the ending was unexpectible.
And that is all i am going to say! :)
