Review of The Last Guardian (Artemis Fowl #8) by Eoin Colfer

The Last Guardian (Artemis Fowl, #8)
Description
Seemingly nothing in this world daunts the young criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl. In the fairy world, however, there is a small thing that has gotten under his skin on more than one occasion: Opal Koboi. In The Last Guardian, the evil pixie is wreaking havoc yet again. This time his arch rival has somehow reanimated dead fairy warriors who were buried in the grounds of Fowl Manor. Their spirits have possessed Artemis’s little brothers, making his siblings even more annoying than usual. The warriors don’t seem to realize that the battle they were fighting when they died—a battle against Artemis—is long over. Artemis has until sunrise to get the spirits to vacate his brothers and go back into the earth where they belong. Can he count on a certain LEPrecon fairy to join him in what could well be his last stand?

Get A Taste: Artemis Fowl

Rea of Rea's Reading and Reviews and I often read very different books but sometimes find interesting new books to potentially add to the ever-growing monsters that our TBR piles have morphed into. However, we know that we do not have 100% the same taste and we wanted another way of getting a look at these books...

Do you ever feel like getting a bit of a taster for a book you’ve been thinking of reading but aren’t fully sold on yet? Do you feel like sharing a taster for your current read with the world? Well, here’s your chance.

Each week the random number generator will pick a number between 1 and 100 for books with pages or 1 and 25% for ebooks. We figured that these numbers would keep us out of spoiler territory. Open your book to the specified place and pick a paragraph. Share it with the world!

This week its:
Page number: 92
Kindle/ebook: 25%

My Teaser:

'The men stamped out their cigarettes and spread slowly into a semi-circle. It was six against one. You had to feel sorry for them. Butler wasn't finished yet.
"Now before we get into anything, ladies, no scratching, no spitting and no tattling to mummy." '

I loved this book, it was one of the firsts series I read, and one of the series in which my sister hasn't read yet. I own all book up to the last book, and I have the new one, and very last one pre-ordered.
PLEASE check this book out, if you like the teaser.

Do you want to join in too? Here’s how:

Step 1:
Copy and paste the Get A Taste image.
Step 2: Copy and paste our intro or write your own but it must link back to both of our blogs.
Step 3: Find the designated page for the week.
Step 4: Type out a paragraph or so from your book.
Step 5: Post it and share it!

We would appreciate it if you'd leave a comment letting us know where we can find your post. We'll be sure to pop on by and leave a comment!
Thanks and have fun!

Review of Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer (ages ago)

In this book all of the main characters got introduced and may i say i love all of the characters expecially Holly Short!!!
Artemis Fowl

Artemis Fowl is a 12 year old boy who is well i may say no ordinery young boy. Holly short is a leprechaun and is very young she is captian in the Lower Elements Police , she doesn't always follow orders but she does what she thinks is right.
Butler is artemis's butler who goes wherever he goes and does everything he can to protect him, also he has known him since the day he was born and has formed a close bond!!
Theses in my mind or the main character but it also includes:
Commander Julius Root, Foaly, Mulch Diggums, Juliet Butler, Angeline Fowl!!!!
