Review of Heaven (Halo #3) by Alexandra Adornetto

Heaven (Halo, #3)
Description
Bethany, an angel sent to Earth, and her mortal boyfriend, Xavier, have been to Hell and back. But now their love will be put to its highest test yet, as they defy Heavenly law and marry. They don’t tell Beth’s archangel siblings, Gabriel and Ivy, but the angels know soon enough, and punishment comes in a terrifying form: the Sevens, who are rogue angels bent on keeping Beth and Xavier apart, destroying Gabriel and Ivy, and darkening angelic power in the heavens.
The only way Bethany and can elude the Sevens is to hide in the open, and blend in with other mortals their own age. Gabriel and Ivy set them up at college, where they can’t reveal their relationship, and where there is still danger around each corner. Will Bethany be called back to Heaven – forever – and face leaving the love of her life?

My Thoughts
I got this on my birthday as a gift from my sister. I was waiting to read this from the moment I finished reading Hades the second book. The title of the book makes so much sense  as the first one was called "Halo" then the second one is called "Hades" and now "Heaven" which is basically the main theme of the books I'm hoping it is.. with heaven as it was with the 2 before. The description also makes me feel that my idea is correct and i love that this is the conclusion and I hope.. I really hope its an ending I will love. The last thing is the cover,,, the amazing cover, I love how it looks like Bethany is being dragged back into heaven and Xavier is trying to pull her back down but that's not what makes it an amazing cover the the fact they form a Love Heart doing so.

This book was very good and I enjoyed every little bit about it. The story line was amazing and there was never a dull moment. The relationships between all of the characters was amazing and well thought out. I loved how new characters were introduced as well as the ones which were in book 1 and 2. I am glad that the book ended on this book, though I will always miss this story line.

The pace of the book is perfect for me as it wasn't too fast or too slow. The style of writing was easy to understand and there wasn't anything complicated in the way the author wrote and also she doesn't use big complicated words which I am happy about.

The two main characters Bethany and Xavier may of made a few rash decisions throughout the book but you can tell that they love each other with all of each others heats and they are willing to risk anything to be with each other. I loved the chemistry between them and I think in my opinion this is on the most cute couples ever.

I am so happy that Alexandra Adornetto wrote these 3 books, and I hope that she has a very happy life knowing she has made me happy with these books.

Halo Series (link to goodreads):

I recommend this book to anyone who read Halo and Hades and who loves YA and romance.

Get A Taste: Halo

Rea of Rea's Reading and Reviews and I often read very different books but sometimes find interesting new books to potentially add to the ever-growing monsters that our TBR piles have morphed into. However, we know that we do not have 100% the same taste and we wanted another way of getting a look at these books...

Do you ever feel like getting a bit of a taster for a book you’ve been thinking of reading but aren’t fully sold on yet? Do you feel like sharing a taster for your current read with the world? Well, here’s your chance.

Each week the random number generator will pick a number between 1 and 100 for books with pages or 1 and 25% for ebooks. We figured that these numbers would keep us out of spoiler territory. Open your book to the specified place and pick a paragraph. Share it with the world!

This week its:
Page number: 76
Kindle/ebook: 24%

My Teaser:
Halo (Halo, #1)
'"Only seventy-two days to go," she said, her face flushed with excitement.
"Until?" I asked.
She looked at me in disbelief
"Until the prom, you loser!" I've never looked forward to anything more in my life". Ordinarily I would have been offended by her use of the word loser, but it hadn't taken long to realize that the girls around here used insults as a form of endearment.'

This was one of my first "big" books I read which my sister hasn't read :D
I loved this book and I also loved the second one Hades :)

Do you want to join in too? Here’s how:

Step 1:
Copy and paste the Get A Taste image.
Step 2: Copy and paste our intro or write your own but it must link back to both of our blogs.
Step 3: Find the designated page for the week.
Step 4: Type out a paragraph or so from your book.
Step 5: Post it and share it!

We would appreciate it if you'd leave a comment letting us know where we can find your post. We'll be sure to pop on by and leave a comment!
Thanks and have fun!

^^Back of book^^

My Thoughts
Not only have a been waiting since last December to get this, but the first book Halo is one of my Favourite books ever so I was so excited when my sister told me it was in WHSmiths, a day early :D As you see the cover is such a beautiful cover and to me it draws you in. The price was £9.99 and it was so worth it.

Alexandra Adornetto is such a brilliant writer and I am so glad she did a series for this.. after the first book i didn't think she could make it any better but she did. Her style of writing is such an amazing style and I feel in love with it so easy. She describes the settings very well and the characters. I read the book in less than a day because I was glued to it. The POV is from Bethany's point of view. The way she wrote about Hell or in her words "Hades".. was so freaky and scary in the same way because of what she shows hell to be like..she also sticks with the normal stuff aka. Hell hounds and stuff.. it kind of reminds me of "supernatural" (oops I'm getting of track).. She writes down emotions and thoughts very well.

My thoughts on the characters are.. Bethany to me seems like an amazing and strong character she went through a lot in Halo and she goes through a lot in this. Xavier is also a great and strong and also to me an emotional character. Jake is an evil, twisted demon.. but to me, didn't want to be out to hurt, its just the way he is and the way he got brought up. There are more characters but the 3 I said were the main ones.

My overall opinion on this book is its emotional, sad but an amazing read, I recommend anyone who loves books with Angels, or Demons in to give this a try and also if you read Halo.
