Q. What do you do with your books after you’re done reading them?

A: If I borrowed them from my sister.. then I return them. If I bought them, I put them randomly somewhere in my room or around the house as I don't have a bookshelf.... If it's kindle Ebooks then on my kindle fire I remove it from the carousel so that doesn't get to clogged up.

I do know if I read a book that I hated, then I would most likely give it to a charity shop :)

Q: Do you mind books with similar ideas to other books? Similar concepts, backgrounds, retellings or pulled-to-publish fanfic?

A: It depends, if someone  "steals" the idea of someone without maybe saying they have.. or something as I feel it is wrong and I don't like it.
If it has similar concepts than I don't mind as long as I don't read them 1 after each other.
Retellings of fairytales are such a good idea, because they are changing something to become what they want, so they will be using there own imagination by doing that.

Q: What is a deal breaker for you in a book? For example, do you abhor love triangles? Or can’t deal with bad editing?

A: I rarely stop reading a book once I start.. but.. Love triangles do sometimes make me groan in despair once I read 3 books in a row with a love triangle and I was piratically shouting "NOO!".
I would say if the book is really long and stuff I can only read it when I have time or I really really couldn't wait to read it.. and in the mood for a long book.
Bad editing is also one, I once had a book which the font was so tiny I just couldn't read it.

Q:
What writing device or trick most irritates you when reading a book? For example, if an author employs an omnipotent narrator that is sometimes considered bad form.

A: I have to agree with one of Parajunkee's points about the love at first sight. I mean I understand in some books its meant to be like that as in.. the people were made to love each other at first look.. but some books... its just annoying and its un real that every book should have that. Overall I think I have read like 200 books or something that involves that.
Also I don't like it.. when I read a book where the POV is centred among the person and then it suddenly switches to narrative form.. I mean pick one and stick to one.

Q: What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?
A:  I would do a lot, When I first started I had a bad background and I wasn't doing any memes to gain followers. I was on 15 followers for a long time, until I started doing this meme :D I would also maybe do more networking but honestly if I were to start from scratch I would redo EVERYTHING.

Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?

A: My sister started book blogging and I became jealous :P...JK. I really don't know why but once I got into reading a year later I was like "WAIT... I should tell everyone my thoughts and feelings about the books I read". So that's when I decided to blog :)

And as we are on the discussion of book blogging, I am so sorry I haven't been reviewing lately :( I promise that when I return I will try to keep it up to at least 1 review a week  :'

Q: If you could “unread” a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?

A: Roderick Blackwood & The Demon Stone by Ralph Rathbone was.. well very flawed and I wished I never read it.
On a positive note, if I could unread a book which I LOVED and experience it again, that would be City of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments #5) by Cassandra Clare because it was AMAZING.. and because it was soooo Amazing.. I read it fast.. so 1 minute I'm reading it and the next I'm.. finished.

So what about all of you? What book would you want to "unread" and is it because you hated it, or loved it ?

Q: Happy Father’s Day! Who is your favorite dad character in a book and why?

A: I really couldn't think of anything, so I went with Keegan's father from Coexist by Julia Crane, He was kind and tried to protect his daughter by any means possible, so I guess a father who is protective of their daughter is a good father.

Q: You are a matchmaker — your goal, hook up two characters from two of your favorite books. Who would it be? How do you think it would go?
A: Nick from Need by Carrie Jones
to be with Zoë from Flying Blind by Deborah Cooke. It's a strange match but I feel they have some similarities.

Q: Have you had a character that disappointed you? One that you fell in love with and then “broke up” with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her.

A: Nat in Entangled by Cat Clarke was a great character until you go further into the book, and find out stuff about what he has done. I really was disappointed in him :(

So what about all of you? Do you have a character you're disappointed with?

Q: Fight! Fight! If you could have two fictional characters battle it out (preferably from books), who would they be and who do you think would win?

A: Well I looked on my goodreads read 2012 to think about this and came up with, Raven from Halflings and Rían from Carrier of the Mark. They book act tough and all that, in my opinion so I would love for them to fight, and I have a feeling Raven will win, but it will be a close call.

So what about all of you?  Do you have two fictional characters you would love to see fight it out ?

Q: What is one book that you would be nervous to see a movie adaption of because you think the movie could never live up to the book

Wither (The Chemical Garden, #1)A: I have so many that I would be nervous about, but one of them would be Wither (The Chemical Garden #1) by Lauren DeStefano. I really loved how the book was set out, and the layout of the mansion, but I really wouldn't know how to turn it into an even better or equal movie. I mean it could be good, but I don't know :)

(PS. If this does come out in the cinema I will be watching it )

Q: Have you ever bought a book BECAUSE of a bad review?

A: I don't think I have, But I can say I have read many books which people have hated, but I loved it :) I guess everyone has different tastes :)

You shouldn't be put of a book just because some people don't like.
